Our lives are like books, enjoyed one chapter at a time. After much deliberation, I recently decided to turn the page in the story of my life. No matter where we live, racism and racial profiling are a major problem in America. If you don’t believe me, just visit the Museum of Tolerance in New York or Los Angeles. Once you leave the facility, you’ll understand that hate and prejudice are everywhere, even when we’d like to believe otherwise. If that isn’t enough to wake you up, consider the big news stories that rocked our nation in recent years, including the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and others. Sometimes, if you’re very lucky, you get the chance to work with people who are not only very talented, but who are also extremely kind, generous people. Since moving to Massachusetts, I’ve worked with two such talents: Scott Reiniche and Neal White. They both are awesome on-air personalities and production gurus, but they are also two very real, down-to-earth guys, and they made coming to work each day a pleasure.
