Jathan is an editor, writer, producer, journalist, and entrepreneur. Owner of Jadeworks Entertainment, a media company that creates multilevel marketing and social media campaigns for its business clients, he is also an avid philanthropist who works with organizations that focus on literacy, wildlife conservation and at-risk youth.

The former digital managing editor for Townsquare Media in New Bedford/Fall River and Texarkana, he worked with a team of radio personalities to create dynamic stories both on air and online. A prolific writer, he highlighted the best that small town America has to offer. He also put his considerable culinary expertise to use with a series that showcased amazing local cuisine.

When he wasn’t producing, editing or creating stories for his team, he could be found interviewing some of the most recognizable figures in the world, including folks like cartoonist Stephan Pastis (“Pearls Before Swine”); philanthropist/actress Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman); authors Mary Higgins Clark, David Baldacci and Greg Iles; auto expert Barbara Terry; journalist Regina Brett (Cleveland Plain Dealer); financial wizard David Bach; country star Sara Evans; celebrity trainer Joel Harper; fashion photographer/model/reality TV host Nigel Barker; soap star Sonia Satra; NASCAR driver Ryan Reed; and countless others.

Before going to work for TSM, Jathan served as the Creative Director for District A, interned at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati and WCPO-TV where he worked closely with Emmy-award winning investigative reporter Hagit Limor.

In 2009, the Cambridge Who’s Who recognized Jathan’s work as both an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

In 2007, Jathan won the Specialty DJ of the Year Award for three shows he produced and hosted on Bearcast Radio, including: Jathan, a morning talk show which featured interviews with novelists, doctors, musicians, philanthropists, and other noteworthy individuals; Jade After Dark, which featured the sultry side of R&B and jazz; and Smooth Jazz Monday Morning.

Jathan graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati where he studied Journalism and Creative Writing. While in college, he wrote news articles and entertainment features for the school’s independent newspaper, The News Record. He also reported for the campus’ broadcast news show, Uptown, and served as the editor-in-chief and co-creator of Verge Magazine. As a culmination of his work, Jathan received the Magazine Track Graduate of the Year award from the University of Cincinnati’s journalism program.

Despite his strong work ethic, however, Jathan is happiest when his home resonates with smooth music, great food, and the laughter of good friends.

A California native, Jathan has lived in West Virginia, Arkansas, New York, Ohio and Massachusetts. He currently resides in Texas.
