Do you need an internship this fall? The Gateway Journalism Review wants you! With only five hours per week, you will receive close mentoring, editing and help with story development. Best of all, you don’t have to relocate to St. Louis or work in a traditional newsroom to do it!

As an intern, you will produce editorial content related to media in the Midwest for Gateway Journalism Review‘s quarterly print magazine, web and weekly newsletter, which comes out to approximately one solid media story every three to four weeks, according to Editor Jackie Spinner.

One of the last remaining journalism reviews in the country, GJR covers the news business between coasts. They are a virtual newsroom, which means they are ideal for students who need a flexible schedule and short commute, because their interns can work from anywhere! GJR offers one- to three-credit internships for correspondent and multimedia positions.

To learn more, visit GatewayJR.org or look for their posting on Handshake. If you have questions, contact Spinner directly via WhatsApp/mobile phone at (202) 441-0228, on Twitter @jackiespinner, or at about.me/spinnerjackie.
