Promote Your Events with Memorable Advertising Campaigns

Some of my favorite superheroes are featured in this mock-up for an advertisement I created for an upcoming comic-con event. (Collage by Jathan Fink, Jadeworks Entertainment)

Working in the media, you learn a lot of things along the way. In my last position as Digital Managing Editor at Townsquare Media, that included learning aspects of sales, marketing, event planning, design, graphics, and so much more. I wore a lot of hats. When people left the company, suddenly I found myself doing their job as well as my own, at least for a time, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. That job taught me so much, and I still use much of it to this day.

Recently, I was asked to create a mock-up promoting an upcoming comic-con type event which promotes literacy using comic books, anime and manga. I relied heavily on what I’d learned working with my advertising, graphics, and events departments at TSM and put together this flyer which could be handed out to various businesses as the promotions team sought sponsors to help with the event. I was pleased with the way it turned out. If you’d like to see the complete flyer, click here.

If you need help promoting your event, feel free to contact me to discuss your needs. I’ll be happy to brainstorm marketing strategies with you and will provide you with a price quote if we decide that we should work together. I always want my clients to have the best possible results so that your events look great and provide you and your business with maximum exposure.
